The Muslim Mama Diary

Well, some days back ,just before the school break, we had a parent teacher meeting and it went really well….almost! My boys as always got rapturous results from teachers and a great bravo for their being such nice chaps on the whole.

Sadly my darling girl ,who has just entered the first year of secondary school, and is eleven,is struggling….and I can’t really understand why it is so hard for her! I try my best, and teach her like I did the boys at her age and yet the results are not coming! Where am I going wrong?

And hints, tips, words of advice, or suggested duaas….PLEASE!

Well, apparently the Chinese are bringing in the new year of the Rat…so the long break from blogging! Kids were at home ,making as much work for mama as possible, and there is just so much my mind can do at one time!

How cold the weather is! Enough said about that! I’ve had guests in and out these past few days, which feels good actually! I don’t get that as often as I’d like , as we live a bit far from the city centre! It’s during these breaks that anyone braves the journey to these parts!

Well, the daughter has happily escaped any studying during the hols and feels no remorse what so ever , from what I gather in her playful giggles when admonished on the same! And before I blame it all on her, what was mama doing about her playfulness, mmm?

Well, the new term starts in a few days and it’s back to packing lunches and other boring stuff!

Sigh ….I thought I only dreaded school days when I was little…..!!!
